A .civ (Cherry Interactive Video) file is lighter than a plain MP4, and converts to MP4 whenever you need it.

The editor

Manage tracks, effects, cuts and joins with ease.

Each recording becomes a shot on a clean, high-density timeline. Stack layered tracks above it, cut without re-rendering, and preview every track independently.

Non-destructive cuts — jump between seconds with soft or hard-cut transitions.
Draw layers on canvas — add a text, video or PaneFlow box, then drag and resize it right on the frame.
Volume automation — draw a level line on any audio track to duck music under narration.

Your own keys, your own bill

Use the Claude subscription you already have, or add a Claude API key — either way subtitles and translation run on your account. ElevenLabs is optional; leave it out if you only need captions. Cherry Studio never proxies your usage or marks it up.
